Concept development sets the design direction before construction: the overall look, feel, materials and palette for your space. Working from concept boards, we establish colour direction, textures, materials and mood, then move to mood boards showing actual finishes and products. It aligns everyone on a clear vision early, so decisions about millwork, lighting and finishes flow from an agreed direction rather than being made piecemeal on site.

Early on you receive concept and mood boards conveying palette, materials and overall direction. As it's approved and developed, this becomes concrete: floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, renderings and finish selections — flooring, wall coverings, paint, stone, countertops, hardware and lighting. These documents define exactly what will be built and become the basis for accurate pricing and the construction drawings.

A concept board comes first and communicates overall vision — colour direction, textures and inspirational imagery — while keeping room to adjust. A mood board comes later and applies specific, real elements: actual finishes, materials and products chosen for your space. In short, the concept board sets the idea; the mood board commits to the tangible pieces. We use both so you approve the direction before finishes are locked in.
