Frequently asked
Turnkey Delivery — your questions, answered.
What does turnkey mean in construction?
Turnkey means we deliver a complete, ready-to-use space under a single contract, so you simply turn the key and move in. One team handles design, permits, procurement, construction, finishes, inspections, and final handover. For a Greater Montréal commercial, retail, or residential client it removes the burden of coordinating separate designers, suppliers, and trades yourself.
What's included in a turnkey project?
A turnkey scope typically covers pre-construction planning, design and engineering coordination, permit support, demolition, construction, finish selections, utilities, inspections, and final handover. You receive a move-in-ready space that meets code, plus as-built documentation for future maintenance. In practice that means one contract and one accountable team carrying the project from concept through the day you take occupancy.
How is turnkey different from design-build or hiring a separate designer and contractor?
In the traditional route you hire a designer, then separately hire a contractor, holding two contracts and the coordination risk. Design-build unifies design and construction under one contract and single point of responsibility. Turnkey goes further: the contractor engineers, procures, constructs, and commissions the space so it's ready to operate on handover — the most hands-off delivery of the three.
